Daria currently works as a Specialist CBT Therapist within the NHS and provides consultation and supervision to peers and therapists in training. Daria is an accredited CBT Supervisor and is actively involved with the Clinical Psychology Doctorate programme at University College London (UCL). She has in-depth knowledge of clinical assessment and treatment of: Trauma (PTSD), OCD, low self-esteem, Health and Social anxiety, adjustment disorders, stress/burn out, ADHD, perfectionism, excessive worrying, phobias and habit reversal.
Daria has over 10 years of experience of working with adults from diverse backgrounds suffering from different types of anxiety disorders and depression. She has worked in various clinical settings; both as a CBT therapist and as a clinical supervisor working with complex and long-standing presentations. Her specialisms include providing Clinical CBT Supervision, general stress management (work/life balance, burn out) and working with relational issues.
Daria is warm and compassionate Cognitive Behaviour/ Interpersonal therapist, skilled in building trusting therapeutic relationships with her clients. She believes that effective therapy is based on a person’s curiosity about themselves and works to uncover strengths even in the strongest moments of hopelessness. As an interpersonal therapist, Daria is highly skilled in working through depression caused by losses, conflicts and transitions and works with her clients to change unhelpful patterns.
Daria adopts an integrative, mixed method approach to tailor therapy to each unique individual. Alongside her specialist skill in providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Daria is also trained in the following:
